Integra Contracts have teamed up with SAS International to sponsor Jack McCarthy in this years 2010 Cadet Kart Championship.
Sunday at Buckmore Park was the final in this years Championship.
It was a great weekend of racing, the weather was quite wet with heavy rain, but it did not stop Jack for having one of his best races of the season. It was the second to last final when on the second lap Jack got bumped from behind and spun off the track.
Jack was determined to get back in the race, as he got back on the track he had dropped all the way down to 17th place, but he would not give up that easy and he performed some spectacular moves to move through the pack and push all the way up to 6th place by the time the chequered flag came out. Given another two laps he would of come in in the top five. What a race!!! Great driving Jack
The second final started out in disastrous fashion, after the first warm up lap, the pack were pulling up to the starting line when Jack got rear ended by another driver and was shaken up, but he was determined to continue knowing that he only needed to finish in the top 8 to accumulate enough points to secure the # 6 plate for next years Championship season. Jack maintained he position during the race knowing that he could not make a mistake that could cost him his position. He drove a spectacular race and finished 7th. Great season Jack and keep up the great driving and lets bring home a top 5 finish next year.
